WELCOME TO LEVI 

 

Levi is a fell located in Finnish Lapland and the largest ski resort in Finland. The resort is located in the village of Sirkka, Kittilä municipality, and served by Kittilä Airport. At a latitude of 67.8° north, it is located approximately 170 km (110 mi) north of the Arctic Circle.
The peak of Levi Fell is at an elevation of 531 meters (1,742 ft) above sea level. There are 44 ski slopes and 28 ski lifts in Levi. 

 

Levi’s natural surroundings are guaranteed to impress. From its river valleys and frozen lakes up to the fells with their spectacular views over the arctic landscape, Levi is all about northern nature at its best. The natural beauty, diverse wildlife, varying terrain, and, of course, the Northern Lights make Levi a great place for outdoors enthusiasts. 

 

Levi Village 

 

The heart of Levi is a pulsing village, unlike any other ski resort in Lapland. Whether it’s shopping, dancing, dining, or more, you’ll find it in the Levi center. Best of all, just about everything is within walking distance Levi’s nightlife offers stand-up comedy and karaoke, sports bars, live music, and more. The epic Hullu Poro Areena features pop stars, rap music, DJs, rock bands, and more. In winter, Levi offers the best Apres-ski (After Ski) you can find. 

Those with an eye for design could get lost forever in Levi’s shops. Wood Jewel blends traditional wood and antler carving with modern fashion. 

You can grab a quick bite between runs down Levi’s slopes, enjoy a traditional Sámi meal of reindeer in a turf hut, or savor a six-course degustation at the Restaurant Utsu. With dozens of restaurants spread across the ski resort and its surroundings, you’ll never suffer from a lack of choice. 

 

Skiing or Snowboarding 

 

Levi Finland is undoubtedly fantastic for skiing, which is why the resort has been ranked as the country’s top skiing destination several times. 

 

The slopes you will find here are best for beginners and intermediate skiers, but there are at least three slopes that are good for advanced skiers as well. In total, you will find 44 slopes here. Several vertical drops make it challenging for those who want to take on the elements. There is night skiing too at 17 of the 45 pistes, covering an area of 43.6 kilometers. 

 

During your stay at Levi, you will get: 

 

-Ski pass for 3 days (opening times from 9 am to 7 pm).
-3 days lessons for the first timers which you can decide if it will skiing or snowboarding (Lessons -are held on consecutive days for 1 hour and 30 minutes daily with professional instructors).
-3 days of equipment for skiing or snowboarding. 

 

 

ACTIVITIES 

 

5-6 km Husky Safari 

 

After a short transfer, you will arrive at the family-owned husky farm. You will meet the adorable and friendly dogs who are eagerly waiting to take you for a ride and get to hear about their lives here in Lapland. The dogs have a real passion for running and after receiving driving instructions you will enjoy a thrilling 5 – 6km husky safari with your own dog team. 

 

Two adults will share the dog sled, one driving and one sitting as a passenger, and there will be a chance to change drivers halfway through the tour. You will also be served a warming cup of hot juice and a tasty local cookie before departing back to Levi. This tour includes thermal safari clothing for anyone who requires it for the tour and will be given out at the farm. 

 

 

Snowshoeing
